(Excerpt from lecture series on Caitanya Caritamrta, Kartika 2006, Part 2, Lecture 12 – ‘Gauranga empowers Nakula Brahmacari I’)
Lord Caitanya is entering into the bodies of different devotees and giving them krsna sakti and with that power of Krsna, they can establish the dharma of Krsna Consciousness. We have seen one little boy, he was born in Germany. He went to school. He went to Grammar school and High School. Then he went to college and then at the young age of eighteen he joined ISKCON.
He washed dishes and cut vegetables and pretty soon he learned how to play mrdanga and kartala and he was chanting and studying. Then after few years Lord Caitanya said, “Alright now I want you to liberate Germany”. This little boy who appeared in Germany was empowered by Lord Caitanya to spread Krsna Consciousness. The little boy grew up into a man, he took his Vaisnava diksa. He realized Krsna. He studied the sastras and his name is Sacinandana Swami.
So he is doing the Lord’s work. He is doing Lord Caitanya’s work in Germany and of course other countries but his special field is Germany because he speaks German. Another boy was born in Russia, then he grew up and then he took diksa and then Lord Caitanya avesa, Lord Caitanya entered his heart and inspired him and empowered him with the sakti to spread Krsna Consciousness there and he is known as Bhaktivijnana Gosvami Maharaja. He speaks Russian and English. So in this way Lord Caitanya is entering so many personalities to spread Krsna Consciousness.
So we are unfortunate that we could not meet Lord Caitanya face to face, however, we are fortunate that we can meet His sons, we can meet His representatives.
His sons are like suns. Son is like a name for a family member or member of a family is called son, a father’s son. But sun is also a planet which gives light, which gives knowledge, gives understanding so that’s why Krsnadasa Kaviraja says –
krsna--- surya-sama; maya haya andhakara.
When the sun shines the darkness goes. So when one meets a devotee he receives the sun of Krsna Consciousness, krsna surya and that sun of Krsna Consciousness drives out the darkness of maya and then we can understand Krsna and realize Him.
